An HMI is the screen through which operators see and control the machine. A good one makes the process obvious. A poor one buries important information under menus and colours. We design screens by imagining the person standing in front of them at the end of a long shift.
Typical screens include an overview of the process, manual control pages, alarm lists, trend graphs and settings pages with password protection. We keep the layout clean, use colour with restraint and place the most needed buttons where they are easy to reach.
Alarms deserve particular care. A message that reads 'Fault 27' helps nobody, whereas 'Hopper level low' points to a solution. We write alarm text in plain language, in English or a local language when preferred, and log events with time stamps for later review.
Uncluttered layouts with restrained colour.
Messages that tell operators what to check.
Time-stamped events and graphs for review.
Production data handled where required.
We program screens for popular brands including Delta, Siemens, Mitsubishi and others. Data can be linked to the PLC, saved to memory, or passed to reports if the system supports it. Recipe handling and production counters are also common requests.
We can build a new interface from scratch or refresh an existing one that operators find confusing. Share screenshots or a description of the current problems and we will suggest improvements.
Yes, if the HMI supports the required font. We can write labels and alarm text in the language your operators prefer.
Yes. Share screenshots or describe what confuses operators and we will suggest a cleaner layout.
Whether you have a full drawing or only an idea, send it across. A short discussion now usually saves a lot of rework later.
