Getting the panel from the truck to a working machine

A good panel can still be let down by a careless installation. Bad cable routing, loose connections or poor earthing show up later as random faults that are hard to trace. Our installation service is about making sure the panel does what it did in our workshop.

We begin with a site visit or review of the layout. Where will the panel stand, how will cables reach it, and is there proper space around it for opening doors and servicing? Sorting this out beforehand avoids on-the-spot compromises.

During installation we fix the panel securely, run and terminate field cables, and check that every device is connected as per drawing. Signal cables are separated from power cables, shields are earthed correctly, and each cable is ferruled and labelled.

Key Highlights

Site review first

We check layout, space and cable routes beforehand.

Neat termination

Ferruled, labelled and separated signal and power cables.

Staged power-up

Voltage and earthing checked before energising.

Operator walkthrough

Drawings and a demonstration at handover.

Once connected, we check voltages and earthing, then power up in stages. Inputs and outputs are tested against the actual machine, and the sequence is run step by step. We would rather spend an extra hour checking than return later for a fault.

At handover, we walk your operators through the panel and leave the drawings with them. If a problem appears in the first weeks, we are available to look into it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you install panels made by others?

Yes, provided drawings are available. We check everything before energising and report anything we find.

How long does installation take?

It depends on panel size and cable runs. After a site visit or drawing review, we can give you a realistic estimate.
